Joyce Moore, who owns Joyce Moore Financial Services and is a chartered financial consultant, will announce her candidacy today for Upper Milford Township Supervisor. on Tuesday, February 12 at the Upper Milford Township Municipal Center, located at 5671 Chestnut Street, Emmaus, PA 18049.Claiming she is socially responsible and fiscally conservative, Moore states her "background and training in accounting and financial services will play a key role in making our Township run as efficiently as possible. ”
Moore attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and has served as a board member of the Spring Garden Children’s School and The League of Women Voters. She is an active member of the Sierra Club and the Appalachian Mountain Club. Listed in Who’s Who in American Women, since 1989, and Who’s Who in America, since 1990, she is the mother of two, Will and Kris, and was a Cub Scout Den Leader and an Assistant Scoutmaster for BSA Troop 31, Minsi Trails Council.
A former Borough Councilwoman and Vice President in Glendon Borough, PA, Moore is not new to the world of local politics.
